| This is a kind of sport, which you can do with your dog.
I do it with my dogs we often take part in races with them.
You can read about this sport www.canicross.hu Canicross It means cross country running with dog. Originaly it
comes from France for runners and cross runners with dogs. The rules are
very easy. The dog runs in front of her/his owner and the owner follows
him/her between them there is a lead. The owner wears a belt and the dog's
trace is fastened to the belt. The speed depends on the owner. Directions
are have to be done by the dog when the owner orders. Running is pleasure
for both the owner and the dog.
Bikejöring
It's similar to canicross. In this sport the dog is fastened
with the bike and they fulfil together the road.
The competions are origanized in a short distance ( 3
km ) and a long distance ( 7 km ). Both sports belong to Hungarian Canicross
Association. |
